How the rebate works

01

Based on capacity

You earn certificates for each usable kWh of your battery, up to a 50 kWh cap. Bigger batteries earn proportionally less above 14 kWh.

02

It shrinks each year

The certificate rate steps down every year until the scheme ends in 2030 — installing sooner is worth materially more.

03

Paired with solar

The battery must be installed with a solar PV system. The rebate is applied at the point of sale by your installer.
